Be part of Graveshams biggest celebration of inclusion, equality and community in by joining the Gravesham Pride Market Place 2026. Whether you're a local business, charity, community group, public service, social enterprise or independent creator, this is your opportunity to showcase what you do, connect with our visitors throughout the day and celebrate Pride alongside our amazing community.

The Market Place will be located in Fort Gardens, Milton Place, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 2BH, at the heart of the main event, surrounded by live entertainment, family activities and community celebrations. 

Stallholders can begin setting up from 9:00am, with all vehicles removed by 11:00am unless prior approval has been given. Trading will take place from 11:30am until 6:00pm, with strip down beginning from 6:00pm. For everyone's safety, vehicles must not enter the event site until all attendees have left the area.

Our Market Place is about much more than selling products or promoting services. It's a chance to engage with the community, raise awareness of your organisation, meet new customers, recruit volunteers, share opportunities and stand proudly alongside others who are helping make Gravesham a welcoming place for everyone.

Stall Holder Applications

Please complete the application form below, providing as much information as possible. The details you provide help us review your application, allocate pitches appropriately and plan the event safely and effectively.

 

Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee a pitch. We carefully review every application to ensure we create a balanced and diverse marketplace, make the best use of the available space and meet the operational and safety requirements of the event. We may also limit the number of stalls offering similar products or services to provide visitors with a varied experience.

Marketplace Terms & Conditions

Thank you for your interest in joining the Gravesham Pride Marketplace.
 

These Terms & Conditions are designed to help create a safe, inclusive and enjoyable event for everyone. By submitting an application and accepting a pitch at Gravesham Pride, you agree to comply with the conditions below.
 

Please read them carefully before completing your application.

Applications & Bookings

Submitting an application does not guarantee a pitch.

 

All applications are reviewed individually to ensure a balanced, safe and diverse marketplace.

 

If your application is successful, you'll receive confirmation together with details of any fees payable and instructions on how to confirm your booking.

 

Your booking is only confirmed once:

  • Your application has been approved by Gravesham Pride.
  • Any applicable payment has been received.
  • You have received written confirmation from the Event Team.

Gravesham Pride reserves the right to refuse any application without providing a reason.

 

Stallholder Timings

Please ensure you arrive and depart within the published event timings.

 

Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate late arrivals or early departures unless agreed in advance with the Event Manager.

 

All timings remain subject to change if required for operational or safety reasons.

 

Set-Up

You may begin setting up your stall from 9:00am.

 

All vehicles must be removed from the event site by 11:00am, unless prior written permission has been granted.

 

Trading Hours

Our trading hours are 11:30am – 6:00pm.

 

Please ensure your stall is fully set up and ready before trading begins.

 

All stallholders are expected to remain open throughout the event and must not begin packing away before the official closing time.

 

Pack Down

You may begin  dismantling your stall from 6:00pm once the event has officially closed.

 

For the safety of everyone attending, vehicles must not enter or move within the event site until all attendees have left and permission has been given by the Event Manager or Event Control.

 

Overnight Storage

The Marketplace operates for one day only.

 

All gazebos, equipment and stock must be brought to site on the morning of the event and removed once the event has finished.

Unfortunately, Gravesham Pride cannot provide overnight storage.

 

Any items left on site remain entirely at the owner's risk. Gravesham Pride accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage.

 

Pitch Allocation

Pitch locations are allocated by Gravesham Pride before the event.

 

You'll receive your pitch number and arrival information during the week leading up to Pride.

 

Whilst we'll always do our best to accommodate requests made during your application, we cannot guarantee specific pitch locations.

 

Pitch allocations are based on:

  • Operational requirements
  • Accessibility
  • Safety considerations
  • Space availability
  • Creating a balanced and varied marketplace

The Event Manager's decision regarding pitch allocation is final.

 

Arriving on Site

Detailed arrival instructions will be sent to all successful applicants before the event.

 

When you arrive, a member of the Gravesham Pride team will:

  • Welcome you to the event
  • Check you in
  • Direct you to your allocated pitch
  • Provide any accreditation required
  • Answer any questions before trading begins

Please follow all directions given by the Gravesham Pride team to ensure everyone can set up safely and efficiently.

 

Vehicles & Parking

There is no public parking within the event site.

 

Vehicles are only permitted on site during the designated set-up and pack-down periods unless written permission has been granted by the Event Manager.

 

Once unloaded, all vehicles must be removed before the event opens.

 

Vehicles must not re-enter the event site until authorised by Event Control or the Event Manager.

 

Public parking is available throughout Gravesend town centre.

 

Trading & Promotional Activities

Your application should accurately describe everything you intend to:

  • Sell
  • Display
  • Promote
  • Distribute

You must not introduce additional products, services or promotional activities without prior written approval from Gravesham Pride.

This helps us:

  • Avoid unnecessary duplication
  • Manage exclusivity arrangements
  • Maintain a family-friendly event
  • Create a varied marketplace

Unauthorised trading may result in items being removed or your stall being asked to cease trading.

 

Restricted Sales

Unless agreed in writing beforehand, the following restrictions apply:

  • Alcohol must not be sold or supplied.
  • Glass bottles or glass containers must not be sold or distributed.
  • Fundraising collections, raffles or lotteries require prior approval.
  • Age-restricted products must comply with all relevant legislation.
  • Offensive, discriminatory or inappropriate material must not be displayed or sold.
  • Dangerous items, including weapons, fireworks or hazardous substances, are prohibited.
  • Counterfeit or illegal goods must not be sold.

Gravesham Pride reserves the right to require the removal of any product considered unsuitable for a public, family-friendly event.

 

Gazebos & Equipment

Stallholders are responsible for providing all equipment required for their pitch, including:

  • Gazebo or marquee
  • Tables
  • Chairs
  • Display equipment
  • Signage
  • Power supply (where required)

All gazebos and temporary structures must be adequately weighted and secured at all times. Ground pegs alone are not permitted.

 

Gravesham Pride reserves the right to refuse permission for any structure considered unsafe.

 

Electricity, Gas & Water

There is no electricity, running water or gas supplied to stallholders.

 

All stallholders must be completely self-sufficient.

 

If electrical equipment is to be used, it must:

  • Be suitable for its intended purpose
  • Have current PAT testing where applicable
  • Be used safely

Gas appliances must:

  • Have a valid Gas Safety Certificate
  • Be operated safely
  • Comply with current legislation

Gravesham Pride reserves the right to inspect any equipment before trading begins.

 

Card Payments & Connectivity

While mobile signal is generally good, network coverage can become busy during large events.

 

If you intend to accept card payments, you are responsible for ensuring you have a suitable payment solution and, wherever possible, a backup option.

 

Gravesham Pride cannot guarantee mobile network coverage or internet connectivity.

 

Waste & Recycling

Please help us keep Gravesham Pride clean, safe and welcoming.

 

All stallholders are responsible for:

  • Keeping their pitch clean
  • Removing waste generated by their stall
  • Using bins provided where appropriate
  • Recycling wherever possible

Please do not leave rubbish, packaging or unwanted stock on site.

 

Failure to leave your pitch clean may affect future applications.

 

Food Safety

Food businesses must comply with all current food hygiene legislation.

 

Where applicable, you may be asked to provide copies of:

  • Food Hygiene Rating
  • Food Safety Certificates
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Gas Safety Certificate
  • PAT Testing Certificate

Food vendors are responsible for ensuring that food is prepared, stored and served safely.

 

All allergen information must be clearly displayed and available to customers.

 

Gravesham Pride reserves the right to inspect documentation before trading begins.

 

Sustainability

We're committed to making Gravesham Pride as environmentally responsible as possible.

 

We encourage all stallholders to:

  • Minimise waste
  • Reduce unnecessary packaging
  • Recycle wherever possible
  • Use reusable or compostable alternatives to single-use plastics

Together we can help keep Pride clean and welcoming for everyone.

 

Accessibility

We encourage all stallholders to help make Gravesham Pride accessible and inclusive for everyone.

 

Please:

  • Keep walkways clear.
  • Avoid creating trip hazards.
  • Ensure customers can safely access your stall wherever possible.
  • Respect the needs of disabled visitors, assistance dog users and those with additional access requirements.

Photography & Filming

Photography and filming will take place throughout the event for promotional, marketing and historical purposes.

 

By attending and trading at Gravesham Pride, you acknowledge that photographs or video footage of your stall may be used by Gravesham Pride in future promotional material.

 

Insurance

Where applicable, stallholders must hold appropriate Public Liability Insurance covering their activities at the event.

 

Evidence of insurance may be requested before your booking is confirmed.

 

Weather

Gravesham Pride is an outdoor event and will normally proceed in all but the most extreme weather conditions.

 

Stallholders are responsible for ensuring their equipment is suitable for outdoor use and adequately secured against changing weather conditions.

 

Behaviour

Gravesham Pride is committed to creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.

 

We ask all stallholders to:

  • Treat everyone with dignity and respect.
  • Follow instructions from the Event Team.
  • Respect diversity and inclusion.
  • Behave professionally throughout the event.

Harassment, discrimination, abusive behaviour or conduct that brings the event into disrepute will not be tolerated.

 

Emergencies

The safety of our visitors, volunteers, contractors and stallholders is our highest priority.

 

If an emergency occurs, immediately notify the nearest member of the Gravesham Pride team, Security or Event Control.

If instructed to evacuate:

  • Remain calm.
  • Make your stall safe if it is safe to do so.
  • Follow instructions from Event Control, Security or Emergency Services.
  • Leave equipment behind unless instructed otherwise.
  • Do not return until authorised.

By participating in Gravesham Pride, all stallholders agree to comply with instructions issued by the Event Manager, Event Control, Security, Safety Officers and Emergency Services at all times.

 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us as soon as possible.

 

Refunds, where applicable, will be considered in accordance with the Gravesham Pride cancellation policy.

 

Gravesham Pride reserves the right to cancel or amend the event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, safety concerns or other unforeseen events.

 

Right to Refuse or Remove

Gravesham Pride reserves the right to refuse entry, refuse trading or require the immediate removal of any stallholder whose activities:

  • Breach these Terms & Conditions
  • Present a safety risk
  • Fail to comply with instructions from the Event Team
  • Bring the event into disrepute
  • Are considered inappropriate for a public, family-friendly event
